Firstly, the skaters practice their routines extensively, including perfecting their moves and making sure their performance is synchronic. They also make sure that their positioning is ideal and safe; skaters get trained in case of any emergencies occurring during the show.
The second important thing is the costume fittings. Skaters try their costumes during rehearsals to ensure that they are comfortable and fit well; adjustments are made as needed. Skaters practice mannerisms, expressions, and interactions to bring the character to life authentically.
